Position Overview

The Data Services Analyst at Candid is a client facing and technical role that works with a team of data experts to deliver valuable data services, insights, and reporting about the social sector to both external and internal stakeholders. You will help shape the delivery of data services products while collaborating closely with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver custom data sets by scoping client needs and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Build and maintain reporting and analysis solutions for data insights.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and design automated processes.
• Create technical frameworks and visualization dashboards for stakeholders.
• Document code and engage in peer reviews for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency between subscription tools and databases.
• Engage in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large relational databases.
• Experience in data visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and apply mathematical and statistical techniques.
• Experience with Python, C#, and related languages is advantageous.
• Preferred background in non-profit sector data is a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical subjects or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.
