About Canals
Canals is a fully remote, profitable startup revolutionizing the industrial supply chain (a $10T industry) through AI innovation. Our cutting-edge platform seamlessly integrates with existing distributor systems, automating arduous tasks and significantly reducing failure points in the global movement of physical goods.
We are a dynamic 80-person team, with approximately 50 engineers, distributed across North and South America.
The Role of a Technical Recruiter
We are actively seeking a talented Technical Recruiter to play a pivotal role in scaling our world-class engineering and product teams. As our customer base expands and the complexity of our platform grows, we require a skilled individual who can consistently build strong pipelines of exceptional technical talent.
You will collaborate directly with hiring managers and leadership to implement effective recruiting strategies across various technical domains, including backend, frontend, DevOps, and ML/AI engineering, as well as product roles such as design and product management. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at identifying and securing top talent, and desires a hands-on role in shaping a rapidly growing company.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical and product roles, encompassing sourcing, screening, interview management, and offer closing.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of highly qualified candidates through innovative sourcing and outbound outreach strategies.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of role requirements, develop tailored outreach approaches, and calibrate on talent quality.
- Manage the entire candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects Canals’ core values of transparency, excellence, and ownership.
- Leverage data to monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and hiring velocity, continuously optimizing the recruitment process.
- Authentically represent Canals to the market, effectively communicating our story to attract and excite top technical talent.
What You'll Bring
- Typically, 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or within an agency setting, with a proven track record of successful hires.
- Exceptional sourcing capabilities, demonstrating proficiency in creating intelligent searches, effective filtering, and efficient talent identification.
- Strong communication and persuasive selling skills, enabling you to engage, qualify, and successfully close candidates in highly competitive markets.
- Extensive experience recruiting for diverse technical roles, including software engineering, machine learning, DevOps, product, and design.
- Comfortable managing multiple requisitions simultaneously and maintaining consistent pipeline momentum within a fast-moving environment.
- Proactive, process-oriented, and highly collaborative, consistently taking ownership, delivering results, and enhancing team performance.
