About the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Consultant Role at Canadian Tire Corporation
As a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will manage the entire recruitment cycle and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. This role demands creativity, a strong understanding of the current market, keen business acumen, and excellent time management skills.
What you will do
- Research active and passive candidates, conduct prescreening, present profiles, coordinate and lead interviews, and manage administrative tasks related to the hiring process.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with business partners, offering informed recommendations.
- Participate in recruitment marketing activities to increase visibility for the Associate Dealer program in the market.
- Act as a Canadian Tire brand ambassador, promoting the brand and building strong relationships with candidates and professional networks.
- Establish and maintain connections with professional and community organizations to build a pool of quality candidates.
- Stay abreast of recruitment trends and best practices to innovate in talent search and attraction.
- Rigorously update the recruitment database to ensure accuracy of information and metrics.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing activities.
- Perform necessary administrative and document management tasks to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Complete any other task or project related to talent acquisition, as needed.
What you bring
- Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience (a combination of headhunting/in-house is an asset).
- Experience with various research and recruitment methods for active and passive candidates.
- Perfectly bilingual (French and English), both oral and written.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Very strong time management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Aptitude for building trust with key collaborators.
- Continuous improvement mindset and openness to proposing new ideas.
- Proactive attitude and positive energy, contributing to a stimulating work environment.
- Client-oriented and motivated to provide high-quality service.
