About the Role

The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a Senior Donor Experience Specialist to design and implement personalized donor journeys that enhance loyalty and create lasting relationships. This mid-level role combines strategic insight with hands-on execution, focusing on empathy, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage segmented donor journeys.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to customize stewardship plans.
  • Create compelling stewardship communications and impact reports.
  • Utilize CRM and analytics to refine donor engagement.
  • Translate donor motivations into meaningful recognition and storytelling.
  • Support evolution of journey mapping and donor standards.
  • Work cross-functionally on initiatives to enhance donor satisfaction.
  • Monitor donor trends and update best practices.
  • Support emergency campaigns with responsive donor strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in donor relations or high-net-worth relationship management.
  • 3-year college diploma or university degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in multi-channel donor journeys and personalized engagement.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce or Raiser’s Edge.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills to apply donor insights for improvement.
  • Fluency in English; French is an asset.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time role with a hybrid/virtual work arrangement in Canada. It requires high concentration, attention to detail, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada and complete a pre-employment screening including an Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC).
