Overview
Make your mark while you grow your career! As the Project Engineer - Sustaining Capital, you will provide expertise, problem solving and engineering solutions for our Albian facility. Lead a cross-functional and multidisciplinary team to deliver projects valued between $10 million and $50 million.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and develop execution plans, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to finalize project scoping documents.
- Manage RFP processes, contractor engagements, and vendor selection.
- Oversee engineering deliverables, design reviews, and project progress.
- Ensure safety, environmental, cost, and schedule goals are met.
Health, Safety and Environment
Comply with all Health and Safety Requirements, regulations and legislative requirements. Follow safe work procedures, report any unsafe conditions or incidents, and ensure PPE usage.
What You Bring To The Role
- Professional Engineer with 10+ years in oil and gas project engineering.
- Experience in full project cycle management, CAPEX and OPEX projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational skills and work ethic.
- Field experience in oil sands facilities and cost-effective project delivery.

Job Location & Work Schedule
This position is based in Calgary, Alberta with a 5 x 2 shift schedule (Monday to Friday) and requires frequent travel to the Albian facility for meetings and field inspections.
