Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Base Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is expected to be organized and a self-starter. Responsibilities include performing aircraft maintenance, organizing the hangar facility, and general housekeeping. This role involves shift work including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation.
- Work on rotary wing aircraft maintenance.
- Potential to migrate to the FAcT contract.
- Opportunity to work on state-of-the-art Airbus H135 aircraft in the future.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
- Completion of a basic maintenance course from a TCCA acceptable training organization or within DND.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security level of Enhanced Reliability.
- Experience on Bell 412 and 206 is an asset.
- Canadian Military aircraft maintenance qualification is considered an advantage.
