Job Description
We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk at our Executive office in Edmonton.
Responsibilities
- Perform various day to day accounting transactions and journal entries
- Track balance sheet accounts and perform monthly account reconciliations
- Assist with year-end audit requests from external auditors
- Administration tasks such as bank deposits, incoming mail, invoices
- Other ad-hoc reporting
Qualifications
- Studies in basic accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; Advanced Excel is an asset.
- Ability to manage priorities with good organization.
- Work independently and take initiative.
- Teamwork and adaptability to variable workload.
- Positive attitude and professional discretion.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks is an asset.
Additional Information
Work Conditions: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5pm, 40 hours per week. Permanent, full-time position located in Edmonton, AB.
