Overview
The Manager, Global Technology Governance Risk and Compliance at Canada Life leads a strategic initiative to implement a Global GRC framework on behalf of the Global Information Security Office. This role focuses on implementing the ServiceNow IRM solution to support business, regulatory, and operational needs.
What Will You Do
- Lead implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of ServiceNow IRM.
- Align GRC processes with regulatory expectations and segment needs.
- Harmonize governance practices across Canada, Europe, and the US.
- Provide risk guidance and prepare executive presentations for senior leadership.
- Drive automation to streamline GRC processes and reporting.
- Support regulatory engagements and prepare necessary submissions.
- Contribute to a range of information security and technology risk governance activities.
What Will You Bring
- 7–12 years experience in Information Security, Technology Risk, or GRC roles.
- Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Business, or relevant field with certifications (CISSP, CGRC, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT).
- Experience with ServiceNow IRM implementation.
- Knowledge of frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT and regulatory standards.
- Ability to articulate technical risks and influence stakeholders across regions.
- Proven track record in change management, communications, and training.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position is between $119,300 and $169,300 annually. Additional components such as annual bonus and commission may apply. Canada Life offers career growth, diversity, inclusion, and an environment that values unique backgrounds and experiences.
