The Role

The Junior Proposal Writer is a key member of the business development team at CANA Group of Companies, working closely with senior management and construction teams. This role focuses on leading RFP and RFQ responses, drafting proposal content, and producing CANA-branded layouts.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to prepare, write, and edit proposals.
• Proofread and ensure content accuracy and consistency.
• Design visually compelling layouts using InDesign.
• Translate technical ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
• Compile compliant documentation and maintain internal libraries.

What You Bring

• 1-3 years writing experience in proposals, technical, or content roles.
• University degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications.
• Excellent written communication and proof-reading skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft 360.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Background in construction, engineering, or design is an asset.
