About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Kubernetes at Camunda, you will design, maintain, and improve our Kubernetes-based infrastructure and multi-cloud platform. You will collaborate with skilled engineers across teams to ensure smooth operations, drive automation, and contribute to continuous improvement in a remote, global company environment.

Responsibilities

  • Architect & Maintain Our Platform: Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and multi-cloud platform.
  • Champion Observability: Implement and enhance monitoring tools for clear system health visibility.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work with cross-functional teams to improve and ship new features.
  • Be a Trusted Resource: Provide 3rd level support for critical incidents and participate in on-call rotation.
  • Drive Automation: Identify automation opportunities to scale operations and improve efficiency.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or New Relic.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
