About the Role

The Software Customer Support Specialist at Campspot assists software customers during scheduled support hours. You will manage inbound calls, emails, and chats by demonstrating deep expertise in our reservation software for campgrounds and resorts.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound queries via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop support.
  • Master the Campspot reservation software and share expertise.
  • Work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Support campground and resort staff with technical assistance.
  • Operate in a fast-paced, customer service environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, patience, and technical ability. You should be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure. Experience in customer service, recreation/hospitality, or SaaS is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Immediate availability
  • 3 years of customer service or related experience
  • Experience in recreation/hospitality/tourism industry
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Business Suite and MS Office, particularly Excel

Compensation & Benefits

Anticipated base salary is approximately 45,000 USD or CAD per year, depending on location. Benefits include competitive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, flexible PTO, a remote-first work environment, and an employee camping credit.

Schedule & Location

This remote role offers defined shifts: Saturday-Sunday 9a-6p and Monday-Wednesday 11a-8p EST. Priority is for candidates near our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters or in Canada, with secondary consideration for select U.S. states.
