About the Role
This Temporary Customer Service Professional I role at Cambia Health Solutions is a remote opportunity available for candidates in WA, ID, OR, and UT. This position may become a full-time role in the future, though there is no guarantee of full-time employment.
Compensation & Start Date
Starting pay range is $19.75 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience and geographic location. Upcoming start date includes December 8th, 2025 and your start date will be assigned based on class availability and the date of your application.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and provide accurate guidance on benefits, claims and eligibility.
- Act as the bridge between Cambia and its members, providers and health professionals.
- Conduct research to find answers and resolve issues.
- Maintain high levels of caller satisfaction while representing Cambia’s mission and values.
- Collaborate with teammates and work independently as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 6 months customer service experience in a call center or a similar industry with extensive customer contact. Proficient PC skills, ability to navigate multiple applications, and apply mathematical concepts are needed. The position requires multitasking, resilience, clear communication, proactive problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to handle confidential information. Preferred knowledge in medical terminology, coding, and experience with AI tools is highly desired.
Work Environment
This is a remote role which requires a high-speed internet connection and a private, distraction-free workspace. Overtime and non-standard hours may be required.
