Software Dev Engineer V Role
Cambia is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer V to join our DTS team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, securing, and maintaining a multi-cloud platform that hosts critical business applications and services. Your responsibilities will span infrastructure, security, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling. You will collaborate closely with architects and software developers to deliver reliable, high-quality, and secure cloud-based solutions, directly impacting our members' health journeys.
What You Will Do
- Plan, implement, and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling, automating operational processes in compliance with security standards.
- Ensure platform infrastructure and designs adhere to corporate security policies, Service Level Agreements, and best practices.
- Lead the evaluation of emerging trends and technologies, incorporating advancements for continuous improvement.
- Develop efficient solutions to complex business problems, providing direction and mentoring to team members.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and application architects, and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to peer code reviews and work both independently and as part of a project team.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation to ensure platform reliability and uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10-12 years of experience developing tools in support of production environments.
- Recommended technical certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, or Developer (Associate/Professional).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, identify requirements, and develop solutions.
- Proven interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and constructive relationships.
- Experience leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications/systems.
- Familiarity with Vendor Management (FinOps reporting, Cost benefit analysis, Product roadmap analysis).
