Job Description

Agrivoltaics Project Manager

At Calycé Sun, we have a simple and strong conviction: agrivoltaics must first serve agriculture, then the energy transition. For us, solar energy only makes sense if it sustainably supports farmers, strengthens the resilience of farms, and adapts to the specificities of each territory. We develop tailor-made agrivoltaic projects, designed hand-in-hand with farmers, always guided by one requirement: to create agricultural value before producing energy. If you are looking for an environment where meaning, cooperation, and innovation prevail, you are in the right place.

Your Missions

As an Agrivoltaics Project Manager, you will play a central role in developing agricultural and solar projects anchored in their territories.

Identification & Feasibility

  • Validate high-potential areas using a Geographic Information System (GIS).
  • Assess the regulatory, administrative, environmental, and technical feasibility of projects.

Development & Coordination

  • Lead projects from start to finish in interdependence with the project team.
  • Coordinate — and sometimes carry out — internal and external studies, managing exchanges with suppliers and service providers.
  • Design technical pre-engineering, integrating territorial constraints, agricultural imperatives, and energy objectives, in direct collaboration with our agronomists.

Consultation & Field Relations

  • Participate in consultation processes with local authorities, administrations, associations, agricultural stakeholders, and residents.
  • Cultivate a relationship of trust with farmers, who are at the heart of the project.

Authorizations & Grid Connection

  • Prepare and monitor administrative authorization files.
  • Manage and follow up on grid connection requests with network operators.

Analysis & Strategy

  • Build and monitor Business Plans in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and ensure clear reporting to management.

The Profile We Are Looking For

Beyond skills, we are looking for a personality that shares our vision.

Expected Skills

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering, environment, land use planning, renewable energies, or equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects, ideally photovoltaic or agrivoltaic.
  • Proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS or equivalent).
  • Knowledge in project management, technical analysis, and understanding of the agricultural world.

Desired Soft Skills

  • Team spirit: You enjoy collaborating, co-constructing, and sharing.
  • Field proximity: You appreciate going to see, understand, and feel what is happening on the ground.
  • Curiosity and innovation: You enjoy seeking solutions and imagining new approaches.
  • Adaptability: Every territory, every farmer, every project is unique — and that's what motivates you.
  • Taste for challenge: Desire to contribute to sustainable transformation of the agricultural sector and to shape the future of agricultural and energy transition, in a constantly evolving environment.

What We Offer

  • A position at the heart of a committed company, where projects have a concrete impact on agriculture and territories.
  • A passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • A clear, coherent, and committed vision of agrivoltaics.
  • Attractive remuneration based on profile + benefits.
