Role Overview

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will analyze, categorize, and label datasets across multiple domains. This role is ideal for analytical thinkers who enjoy bringing order and clarity to complex information.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesize and structure large volumes of text, image, and multimodal data.
• Annotate and categorize content according to detailed rubrics and taxonomies.
• Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or edge cases in datasets.
• Apply critical thinking to ensure contextual accuracy and labeling consistency.
• Collaborate asynchronously with researchers and data teams to refine labeling standards.

Ideal Qualifications

• Based in the United States (required).
• Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into structured outputs.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience with annotation frameworks, taxonomies, or rubric-based data labeling preferred (not required).
• Comfortable working independently on repetitive but intellectually precise tasks.

Project Details

Start Date: Immediate Duration: Through December (potential for extension) Commitment: ~20 hours/week Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own time

Compensation & Contract

Hourly Rate: $40/hour (USD) Contract Type: Independent contractor Payments: Weekly via Stripe Connect
