About the Role

The Chinese Language Specialist – Remote will evaluate and enhance AI-generated image and video content produced from Chinese-language prompts. This role ensures that outputs are fluent, accurate, and culturally authentic, offering the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge multimodal AI systems such as Gemini’s image and video models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated images and videos for linguistic accuracy and cultural nuance.
  • Provide structured feedback to improve Chinese-language comprehension in AI systems.
  • Identify and document translation issues and cultural inaccuracies.
  • Experiment with AI image and video generation tools to test prompt behavior.
  • Collaborate with researchers to report failure cases and improvement opportunities.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Full professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Deep understanding of Chinese culture, idiomatic expressions, and regional variations.
  • Awareness of modern Chinese media, pop culture, and social trends.
  • Strong attention to detail with clear feedback articulation.
  • Experience in translation, localization, or linguistic review is preferred.

Project Details

  • Compensation: $28–$33 USD/hour based on experience
