Overview

Call For Referral is collaborating with Mercor on a premier project. As a Chemistry Expert PhD Research Scientist, you will contribute subject-matter expertise to advance state-of-the-art AI systems by creating high-quality, domain-specific data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review complex chemistry problems for AI training.
  • Evaluate AI-generated content for scientific accuracy, logical reasoning, and clarity.
  • Provide structured feedback to improve model outputs.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with research and product teams.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemistry from a top US, UK, Canadian, or European university.
  • Undergraduate degree from a recognized institution in US/UK/Canada/Europe.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in English.

Role Details

  • Start: August 2025 with rolling applications.
  • Hours: 15–20 hours per week (potential extension up to 40 hours).
  • Duration: 1–2 months minimum, with possible extension.
  • Fully remote, asynchronous, and flexible scheduling.

Compensation and Legal
