Role Overview: Business Intelligence Data Analyst
In this role, you will work with internal and external clients to implement business intelligence and data solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and evaluating user requirements, designing data management systems, performing data discovery analyses, and creating, testing, and supporting data-driven solutions.
Primary Duties
- Perform data discovery analyses, produce reports, and provide interpretations.
- Develop applications for data collection and querying.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret large volumes of raw data.
- Convert and transform data for dashboards and report consumption.
- Refine and automate data processes from centralized data warehouse.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and IT teams to ensure data quality.
- Identify and remedy gaps in existing data models.
- Provide technical advice for data visualization and reporting.
- Implement improvements in data analytics and management.
Qualifications
A 2-year Diploma in Data Analytics, Software Development, or a related discipline is required along with less than 1 year experience in Data Analysis and BI product development. Must have experience with Power BI (PBI), DAX, and M-Code, as well as a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI Paginated Reports. Proficiency in Power BI Data Models, cloud and on-prem databases, and T-SQL is mandatory. Experience with Power BI Service Administration and Microsoft Fabric, and knowledge in Python, MS SharePoint, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, ArcGIS, GIS services, or FME is preferred.
