About the Team & Opportunity
Calendly’s Engineering team drives innovation and delivers clarity across infrastructure, data, and product engineering initiatives. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will orchestrate complex cross-functional programs with clear outcomes.
A Day in the Life of a Technical Program Manager
Strategic Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-team engineering programs from problem definition to clear outcomes. Align stakeholders on vision, outcomes, and measurable success criteria. Build integrated program roadmaps, dependency frameworks, and manage critical paths.
Execution & Operational Excellence: Establish operating rhythms including kickoffs, status reviews, risk forums, and executive readouts. Identify risks early and drive mitigation with data-driven recommendations. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Data Platform, and Product teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Technical Rigor & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate technical alignment and engineering reviews ensuring architectural scalability, reliability, and security. Define program health metrics and lead post-incident reviews with actionable improvements.
Culture & Impact: Coach teams and peers on program best practices, raise the bar on execution quality, and maintain outcome orientation.
What We Need From You
8–10+ years of technical program management experience in Infrastructure, Data, and Product engineering environments delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-quarter programs and improve delivery predictability with a data-driven approach.
Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, cloud-native environments, CI/CD practices, and technical program tooling (Jira, Confluence). Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven record of distilling complex data into executive narratives.
Nice to have: Hands-on engineering background with experience in platform modernization, privacy/data programs, and large-scale engineering programs.
