About the Team & Opportunity
Calendly’s Engineering team is on a mission to innovate and empower customers. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will orchestrate complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives across infrastructure, data, and product engineering teams to drive clarity, alignment, and execution with measurable outcomes.
A Day in the Life of a Senior Technical Program Manager
Strategic Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-team programs from definition to outcomes. Align stakeholders on vision and measurable success criteria. Develop integrated program roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive predictable delivery. Balance long-term platform investments with near-term business priorities and outcomes.
Execution & Operational Excellence: Establish operating rhythms such as kickoffs, status reviews, risk forums, and executive readouts to ensure accountability and decision-making. Identify risks early and drive mitigation through data-driven recommendations. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and appropriate change management.
Technical Rigor & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate technical alignment and architectural reviews ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability. Define and monitor program health metrics and lead post-incident reviews to continuously improve processes and tools.
Culture & Impact: Coach teams and fellow TPMs on best practices, enhancing communication, execution, and outcome orientation.
What We Need From You
We are looking for someone with 8-10+ years of technical program management experience in Infrastructure, Data, and Product engineering organizations. You have a proven track record in leading multi-quarter initiatives with complex dependencies. You are deeply familiar with Agile, SDLC, cloud-native environments, CI/CD practices, and risk management, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. Authorization to work in the United States is required.
