Job Summary: Database Analyst at CAI
CAI, a global services firm with over 9,000 associates and $1.3 billion+ in revenue, is seeking a motivated Database Analyst. This full-time, remote 6–12 month contract role focuses on providing system and end-user support for critical homegrown systems. What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive system and end-user support for key homegrown applications, including myNHDOE, SEEDS, iNHDEX, and ESSP.
- Advise and train school district employees and personnel on system access and effective use of supported data systems.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.
- Propose enhancements and modifications to existing systems to meet evolving needs and improve workflow efficiency.
- Thoroughly test bug fixes and new feature releases for supported systems to ensure stability and performance.
- Collaborate with management to align on system principles and strategic direction.
- Evaluate and adapt pre-developed application packages to meet specific organizational requirements.
- Support data collection, processing, and reporting, while documenting policies and procedures for agency data collection to guarantee accuracy in program outcomes, metrics, and compliance with state and federal reporting.
What You'll Need
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in data system administration and analysis.
- At least 5 years of experience providing end-user support for data systems.
- At least 3 years of experience with data system testing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with SQL.
- 2 years of experience using and administering JIRA.
- Experience working with education-related data or data systems.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This is a remote, full-time position requiring the ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA standards. The role involves sedentary work, primarily sitting and utilizing a computer with a mouse, keyboard, and monitor for repetitive tasks.
