Freelance Peer Reviewer - Computational Neuroscience
Cactus Communications is seeking experienced researchers to conduct peer reviews for journals and publishers. This role requires a strong academic background and a keen eye for detail in evaluating scientific manuscripts.
What You Need to Have:
- Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in Computational Neuroscience.
- At least two publications in the last two years in your field.
- Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles in Computational Neuroscience.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written communication skills for clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.

- Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
What You Will Do:
- Assess Novelty: Evaluate if the manuscript is original and contributes new knowledge to Computational Neuroscience.

- Literature Review: Check for thorough incorporation and citation of relevant, up-to-date research.

- Providing Constructive Feedback: Offer feedback, suggest improvements, and highlight flaws or ethical concerns.
