Job Description
Freelance Journal Selection and Pre-Submission Peer Reviewer at Cactus Communications
We are currently seeking experienced researchers and journal editors to collaborate with us on a freelance basis as Freelance Journal Selection and Pre-Submission Peer Reviewers. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to the academic publishing landscape, ensuring high-quality scholarly communication.
What You Will Do
- Provide expert input in the form of peer-review-style comments on manuscripts.
- Highlight areas for improvement and evaluate the manuscript’s readiness for publication.
- Prepare a detailed assessment report outlining your evaluation and recommendations.
- Ensure that all deliverables are submitted within client deadlines.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
- Prior experience as an invited peer reviewer for a journal or as a journal editor. (Mandatory)
- At least 10 published manuscripts as an author or co-author (Mandatory)
- A PhD or MD in one of the following areas (Mandatory):Surgery | Education | Ophthalmology | Clinical Oncology | Theoretical Physics / Atomic and Molecular Physics | Theology | Philosophy / Theology | Muscle, Bone, and Physical & Sports Medicine | Reproductive Medicine and OBGYN | Pediatrics | Sociology | Linguistics | Design and Aesthetics | Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine
