About the Role: Product Manager Intern, Multi-Cloud CDN at ByteDance

ByteDance's traffic infrastructure team is at the forefront of building and operating a vast global network of edge POPs, which host critical infrastructure services including widely distributed Content Distribution Networks (CDNs). As a Product Manager Intern, Multi-Cloud CDN, you will contribute to building enterprise-level infrastructure platforms that empower ByteDance product developers to easily deploy and manage their applications.

This 12-week internship in Summer 2026 offers invaluable industry exposure and hands-on experience, allowing you to transform your ambitions into reality. You will engage in a vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops, laying a strong foundation for your personal and professional growth while applying your knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive customer and competitor analysis, alongside data analysis, to pinpoint the core needs and challenges of CDN clients, identifying valuable product opportunities.
• Craft high-quality Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that clearly define product features, core values, and user experience.
• Develop actionable long-term product roadmaps and detailed version iteration plans.
• As a product feature owner, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, UI/UX design, and program management to efficiently drive product development, testing, and release, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Continuously monitor post-launch product performance and user feedback, leveraging industry trends to drive ongoing product iteration and optimization.
• Evolve the product's operational analysis system, utilizing data-driven methods to assess business health and provide critical analysis for key decisions like resource allocation, cost optimization, and pricing adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related disciplines.
• Possess excellent logical analysis and structured thinking skills, with a passion for dissecting complex problems and devising innovative solutions.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion.
• Ability to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience in internet products, business analysis, market research, or related fields.
• Excellent communication, understanding, and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team environment.
