Overview

The Senior System Engineer ESB at BWI GmbH is pivotal in shaping the digital future of Germany. As the primary digitalization partner of the Bundeswehr, you will contribute to stable, secure, and efficient IT services, enhancing the operational readiness and command capabilities of the armed forces.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Continuously develop the ESB application.
  • Implement and migrate business areas onto the ESB platform.
  • Advise, conceptualize and drive platform expansion.
  • Work independently on project-specific requirements.

Your Profile

You should have an eligible IT-related professional qualification (3-year technical training with 5 years of experience or a related degree with 2 years of experience) with at least 5 years in application development and architecture. Proficiency in one or more technologies such as Java, Python, Kafka, Flink, Kubernetes, SQL, CI CD, API Connect, Q-Native, or MQ is essential. Strong communication, teamwork skills, a willingness to travel (approximately 10%), and fluent German are required.
