Join us in ensuring the digital future capability of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr).
Your Responsibilities as an IT Expert DevOps Platform Engineering
- Manage and further develop a Cloud-Native platform for Data Analytics and AI tools for our client, the Bundeswehr.
- Implement and ensure the operability of a PaaS/SaaS based on Kubernetes with a high degree of automation in provisioning and deployment within an agile team.
- Automate the provision of containerized platform components through CI/CD, as well as monitor and optimize the platform through the targeted use of Logging, Monitoring, and Tracing.
- Continuously and systematically strengthen the platform by implementing IT security requirements.
- Contribute to the creation of code-centric technical documentation.
Your Profile
- Completed specialized university degree or comparable education.
- Approximately 2 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud-native platforms, deployment of Microservices, and/or automation of containerized applications.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud-native concepts, API Gateways, Service Mesh (e.g., Istio), Authentication, and Observability.
- Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code and GitOps, e.g., with GitLab-CI, Terraform, Crossplane, or ArgoCD.
- Experience in deploying Machine Learning Systems (MLOps) is desirable.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, analytical thinking, willingness to learn, and a meticulous and conscientious working style.
- Fluent German language skills and a solid understanding of English.
