Job Summary

We are seeking a junior-level Data Scientist to support analytics product development and AI-driven initiatives within healthcare operations. This role will contribute to building data pipelines, analytical models, and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision quality, and workflow automation across complex healthcare processes.

The ideal candidate is a recent Master’s graduate or early-career professional (0–3 years experience) with strong technical fundamentals in Python and SQL and an interest in applying data science within regulated, production environments.

This role operates within an agile team structure under the guidance of a Tech Lead and Product Manager and offers hands-on exposure to real-world healthcare analytics and AI systems.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Query, analyze, and transform healthcare operational data to support analytics product development
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL, including joins, aggregations, and data validation logic
  • Contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives, including experimentation and integration of GenAI capabilities
  • Assist in developing analytical models and decision-support tools that enhance operational workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
  • Support testing, validation, and monitoring of models and data systems deployed in production

RequirementsBenefits:

  • Education: Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, data engineering, or applied AI (internships and academic research acceptable)
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Solid SQL including joins, aggregations, and subqueries
  • Exposure to data pipelines and structured datasets
  • Familiarity with machine learning or GenAI concepts (academic or project-based experience acceptable)
