Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join a high-performing Clinical Enablement and Insights team focused on supporting and evaluating innovative technology products designed for care management clinicians and healthcare members.
This role will focus on managing and analyzing novel datasets generated through pilot programs and partnerships with startup vendors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing key performance indicators (KPIs), designing experiments, and conducting rigorous evaluations to generate actionable insights that support product and scaling decisions.
The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate closely with clinicians, product teams, business leaders, and technology stakeholders to identify clinical opportunities, optimize product offerings, and evaluate program effectiveness using advanced statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Python and SQL skills, experience working with large and complex datasets, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage novel datasets generated through pilot programs and startup vendor partnerships, ensuring accurate collection, organization, and analysis of structured and unstructured data
- Develop value-driven key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and business impact of innovative healthcare technology products
- Design and implement robust experimental frameworks and analytical methodologies to evaluate pilot program outcomes and inform scaling decisions
- Partner closely with care management clinicians, business leaders, and product stakeholders to identify clinical opportunities and optimize healthcare solutions using data-driven insights
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling approaches to solve complex healthcare and business challenges
- Create scalable data structures and pipelines that standardize and streamline data collection processes while ensuring integrity and reliability for reporting and analytics
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reporting materials that clearly communicate analytical findings and support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across analytics, IT, product, and business organizations throughout all phases of initiatives, from opportunity exploration through implementation
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Experience
- 3+ years of analytics experience
- 3+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist
- 3+ years of SQL programming experience
- 3+ years of Python experience
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- 2+ years of experience communicating technical concepts to business stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience with machine learning modeling, statistical analysis, data engineering, and data visualization
- Strong Python programming skills for analytics, machine learning, and data processing
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming large datasets
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis techniques
- Familiarity with cloud-based data and analytics platforms
- Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with BigQuery (BQ)
- Understanding of healthcare industry workflows and clinical research concepts
- Experience working with large-scale, unstructured datasets
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and implementations
- Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline preferred
