About the role

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Remote

About The Company

We are a leading healthcare company focused on improving clinical outcomes and reducing medical costs for a large member population. Our team partners closely with clinical, marketing, and pharmacy stakeholders to design and deploy targeted outreach programs — supporting members through key moments like medication adherence, hospital discharge, and new diagnoses.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a team supporting Next Best Action outreach campaigns across pharmacy, behavioral health, care transitions, and condition management. This role sizes and validates targeted campaigns using claims data, partners with clinical and marketing stakeholders to refine requirements, and supports measurement of campaign impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sizing & Segmentation: Use SQL and/or Python to query claims data and size target populations for outreach campaigns (e.g., identifying members with a given condition and quantifying potential cost savings from a proposed intervention).
  • Requirements Gathering: Partner with senior team members, clinicians, and pharmacists to validate clinical requirements and exclusion logic for campaign targeting.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Have meaningful, transactional conversations with mid-level business stakeholders to bring sized business cases through review and validation.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work with marketing and internal platform resources to convey clinical and targeting requirements for campaign activation.
  • Tool Validation: Use internal tools to sanity-check that initial sizing analysis aligns with platform outputs.
  • Campaign Documentation: Populate campaign summary materials (problem definition, call to action, timing, target audience, and expected savings) for stakeholder and clinical safety review.
  • Measurement & Evaluation: Map outreach data to claims data and analyze whether campaigns had a measurable impact on the target population.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in Statistics or a related quantitative field (candidates with strong equivalent experience may also be considered depending on budget constraints).
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience; undergraduate-only candidates will not be considered.
  • Skills: Proficiency in SQL and/or Python; college-level statistics knowledge (e.g., t-tests, experimentation); ability to move projects forward with stakeholders in a fast-paced, transactional environment; strong problem-solving and error-checking skills.
  • Assessment: Candidates will complete a SQL and Python technical assessment as part of the evaluation process.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Market-aligned compensation
  • Health and Wellness: Access to comprehensive benefits package upon conversion
  • Work-Life Balance: Remote work environment with flexible hours and a supportive culture
  • Professional Development: Opportunity to work with a high-performing analytics team with access to modern technologies and ongoing learning resources
  • Additional Perks: Inclusive work environment, long-term career potential, and involvement in high-impact projects
