About the Role

As a Senior Administration Officer at Bureau Veritas North America, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership abilities to manage daily administrative functions and supervise a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive general administration support to management and staff.
  • Supervise and lead the administration team, including office assistants and other support personnel.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of office administration, including general office management, facilities management, vendor relations, purchase and procurement processes, company vehicle management, license renewals, and office renovation project coordination.
  • Ensure timely and effective correspondence follow-up to maintain seamless office operations.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc reporting and analytical tasks.
  • Assist in the editing of administration policies and ensure their strict compliance with specified regulations and standards.
  • Aid in managing fixed assets applications and processing petty cash expense claims.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and cost control management efforts.
  • Update and draft office layout plans as needed.
  • Handle various ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Higher diploma or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of office administration experience, with a preference for experience within a sizeable organization.
  • At least 2 years of proven supervisory experience.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficient hands-on PC skills, including extensive experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and floor plan software.
  • Demonstrated strong supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Highly attentive to details, possessing good initiative, and a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic and fast-changing work environment.
