Job Description
About the Role
As a Senior Administration Officer at Bureau Veritas North America, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership abilities to manage daily administrative functions and supervise a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general administration support to management and staff.
- Supervise and lead the administration team, including office assistants and other support personnel.
- Oversee the full spectrum of office administration, including general office management, facilities management, vendor relations, purchase and procurement processes, company vehicle management, license renewals, and office renovation project coordination.
- Ensure timely and effective correspondence follow-up to maintain seamless office operations.
- Conduct regular and ad hoc reporting and analytical tasks.
- Assist in the editing of administration policies and ensure their strict compliance with specified regulations and standards.
- Aid in managing fixed assets applications and processing petty cash expense claims.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and cost control management efforts.
- Update and draft office layout plans as needed.
- Handle various ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Higher diploma or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of office administration experience, with a preference for experience within a sizeable organization.
- At least 2 years of proven supervisory experience.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Proficient hands-on PC skills, including extensive experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and floor plan software.
- Demonstrated strong supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.
- Highly attentive to details, possessing good initiative, and a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic and fast-changing work environment.
