About the Role
The Network Infrastructure Admin II role is designed for individuals proficient with networking and security technologies, servers, and storage arrays. This role primarily focuses on managing enterprise data center environments (both on-prem and cloud) and ensuring optimal performance across Bullhorn's global offices and data centers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for day-to-day hardware alerting and incident management.
- Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to maintain network uptime and security.
- Collaborate with vendors on new setups, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure deployments and enhancement projects.
- Maintain datacenter facilities and support 24/7 production environment availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance.
- Manage network administration for Cisco, Palo Alto firewalls, and wireless solutions.
- Support SaaS environments in both on-prem and cloud data centers.
- Monitor inventory including datacenter spares.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include 2+ years of hardware and software troubleshooting experience, 3+ years in network engineering/administration, and 1+ year with routing protocols. Candidates should have familiarity with L2/L3 technologies, Linux and Windows server administration, and experience in high volume SaaS environments. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required and some travel may be involved.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Solarwinds NPM
- Demonstrated network engineering in AWS/Azure cloud environments
- CCNA certification and/or AWS experience
- Experience with data center management software and Pure Storage solutions
- Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and SDDC technologies
