About Senior Full-Stack Engineer at BuildOps

At BuildOps, we’re building a groundbreaking software solution for commercial contractors. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will help build and enhance our industry-leading platform, working in a distributed team environment to ship high-quality software.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain our backend platform using real-time, event-driven systems.
  • Develop our frontend platform using the React framework.
  • Write quality code with high test coverage and proper documentation.
  • Develop, support, and improve our GraphQL and REST APIs.
  • Promote documentation standards and mentor engineering teams.
  • Co-own technical vision, participate in design, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Communicate with engineers, product managers, customers, and partners.

What We Look For

  • 5+ years in an engineering role, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/ECMAScript, Node.js, React.js, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with Material-UI, CI/CD, Python, Jest, and unit testing.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field (B.S., M.S., or PhD).
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (Monday/Friday WFH, Tuesday-Thursday in office).
