Senior Full-Stack Engineer at BuildOps

At BuildOps, we’re building a groundbreaking software solution to support today’s commercial contractor. This role involves enhancing an industry-leading platform with responsibility for both backend and frontend development in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain our backend platform with real-time, event-driven systems.
  • Develop and maintain our frontend using the React framework.
  • Write quality code with high test coverage and thorough documentation.
  • Develop, support, and improve GraphQL and REST APIs.
  • Mentor engineers and co-own technical vision with your team.
  • Conduct technical reviews, design sessions, and code audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product management, and customers.

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced SaaS environments.
  • Expertise in modern JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
  • Educational background in computer science or related field.
  • Ability to work hybrid (in-office Tuesday - Thursday, remote Monday/Friday).
