About the Role

At BuildOps, as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will build and enhance our industry-leading platform for the commercial contracting industry. You will work in a distributed team environment, shipping high-quality software that powers real-time, event-driven systems and features.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain our backend with real-time systems and services.
  • Develop our frontend platform using the React framework.
  • Write quality, well-tested, and well-documented code.
  • Develop and support GraphQL and REST APIs.
  • Mentor team members and lead technical design reviews.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure precision in software delivery.

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Material-UI, and Python is a plus.
  • Strong communication, technical writing skills and mentorship abilities.
  • Educational background in Computer Science or related field.

Work Environment & Benefits

This role is hybrid with Monday/Friday WFH and in-office Tuesday to Thursday at our hubs in Los Angeles, Toronto, and Raleigh.
