About Full-Stack Engineer at BuildOps

At BuildOps, we’re building a groundbreaking software solution to support today’s commercial contractor. The role is designed for a motivated self-starter ready to work in a distributed team environment and ship high-quality software powering the commercial contracting industry.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain backend with real-time, event-driven systems and services
  • Create and sustain frontend applications using React framework
  • Write quality code with high test coverage and documentation
  • Develop and support GraphQL and REST APIs
  • Collaborate with QA to ship high-precision software
  • Mentor and guide team engineers
  • Conduct technical design, code reviews, and enforce documentation standards
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

What We Look For

  • 3+ years engineering experience in fast-paced SaaS environments
  • Proficient in JavaScript/ECMAScript with React.js
  • Experience with Node.js, GraphQL (Apollo), and REST
  • Familiarity with React Native, Material-UI, CI/CD, and optionally Python
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • An ability to work a hybrid schedule (WFH Monday/Friday, in-office Tuesday-Thursday)
