As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle within large and complex enterprise accounts, leading high-value opportunities, managing multi-stakeholder relationships, and developing durable account strategies that drive sustained growth.

What You’ll Do

Develop New Business and Grow Existing Accounts:

  • Identify and close new business opportunities within enterprise accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
  • Drive expansion opportunities across multiple business units.
  • Utilize tools like Sales Navigator, Meet Alfred, Apollo, and Salesforce.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Shape tailored account strategies aligning Buildkite’s solutions with customer needs.
  • Manage complex sales processes with multiple decision-makers and technical evaluations.
  • Forecast revenue and pipeline accurately using methodologies like MEDDIC.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene with detailed documentation of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to share insights and best practices.

Customer Engagement

  • Work with Solutions Architects to design solutions addressing enterprise needs.
  • Provide strategic insights to maximize customer value and adoption.
  • Represent Buildkite at executive meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to influence product strategy internally.
  • Enhance Buildkite’s reputation with inclusive, customer-first engagement.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS or software sales closing enterprise deals.
  • Deep understanding of developer tooling, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Expertise in strategic methodologies such as MEDDIC.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with technical and senior decision-makers.
  • A results-driven mindset with precise forecasting and revenue target achievement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and mentor peers.
  • Long-term strategic thinking for sustainable growth and customer relationships.
