As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle within large and complex enterprise accounts, leading high-value opportunities, managing multi-stakeholder relationships, and developing durable account strategies that drive sustained growth.
What You’ll Do
Develop New Business and Grow Existing Accounts:
- Identify and close new business opportunities within enterprise accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Drive expansion opportunities across multiple business units.
- Utilize tools like Sales Navigator, Meet Alfred, Apollo, and Salesforce.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Shape tailored account strategies aligning Buildkite’s solutions with customer needs.
- Manage complex sales processes with multiple decision-makers and technical evaluations.
- Forecast revenue and pipeline accurately using methodologies like MEDDIC.
- Maintain CRM hygiene with detailed documentation of opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to share insights and best practices.
Customer Engagement
- Work with Solutions Architects to design solutions addressing enterprise needs.
- Provide strategic insights to maximize customer value and adoption.
- Represent Buildkite at executive meetings, industry events, and conferences.
- Act as the voice of the customer to influence product strategy internally.
- Enhance Buildkite’s reputation with inclusive, customer-first engagement.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS or software sales closing enterprise deals.
- Deep understanding of developer tooling, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Expertise in strategic methodologies such as MEDDIC.
- Strong relationship-building skills with technical and senior decision-makers.
- A results-driven mindset with precise forecasting and revenue target achievement.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and mentor peers.
