The Role
We are seeking an organised individual who is highly motivated and works well independently in a fast-paced environment, as well as within a team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Global Translations Team, reviewing the Spanish translations of our global solutions. The reviews will be done through a Translation Software (Phrase). The candidate must be bilingual Spanish and English.This is a temporary position, initially intended to cover a colleague on medical leave, with an immediate start.
The role can be based in Madrid or Bilbao, where BTS has offices. We follow a hybrid working model, with 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office, encouraging regular in-person collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Review Translated documents from English to Spanish and vice versa.
- Internalize/contextualize the translations for all the BTS language and terminology.
- Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders, clients and colleagues to ensure high quality translated materials.
- Work with colleagues from global translations teams to create best practices, and processes and build knowledge.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
Necessary Skills
- Writing and Drafting Skills.
- Native Spanish Speaker.
- English proficiency level required.
- Experience with Translations AI Platforms.
- Knowledge in Phrase is a plus.
- Experience working in digital platforms.
- In possession of excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and confidence in dealing with people
- Experience using Microsoft Office is required (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Independent, a quick learner and comfortable taking on responsibility
