About the Role
As an Account Manager at BT Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation. You will own existing client relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and deliver exceptional value. This role also involves actively securing new business and extending BT's reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities within existing accounts and expanding beyond current BT Wholesale relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that adapt to evolving market conditions and business priorities.
- Build strong networks, lead negotiations, and successfully close deals, ensuring high-standard after-sales relationship management.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date sales forecasts and customer records using Salesforce for strong pipeline visibility.
- Adopt a creative, solutions-focused approach to progressing key opportunities, overcoming challenges, and unlocking value.
- Champion the full BT Wholesale portfolio and broader BT product/capability offerings to maximize customer impact.
- Represent BT at industry events and exhibitions, showcasing professionalism, expertise, and market insight.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, leveraging internal subject matter experts and stakeholder support to progress and close opportunities.
