Job Summary
As an Aerospace Management Systems Auditor, you will deliver BSI’s audit services to assigned clients, ensuring compliance with BSI, scheme, and regulatory requirements. Your role is crucial in assuring timely, cost-effective service delivery that meets customer satisfaction needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct AS9100 and ISO9001 audits for clients.
- Prepare and deliver assessment reports, providing clear direction for corrective actions.
- Recommend the issuance, re-issuance, or withdrawal of certificates in accordance with BSI policy.
- Maintain overall account responsibility and portfolio accountability for nominated accounts, ensuring partnership and service delivery.
- Lead assessment teams, ensuring quality of service and effective working relationships.
- Manage the entire assessment process: client contact, scheduling, planning, travel, conducting assessments, reporting, and managing results.
- Adhere to all BSI procedures, processes, and policies for client management, home office operations, equipment use, and communication.
- Monitor client accounts for record-keeping, visit cycles, and invoicing to maintain client satisfaction.
- Mentor and coach new or inexperienced colleagues as needed.
- Undertake any other assignments to meet assessment delivery business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mandatory completion and passing of AATT 9100 Lead Auditor Course and Exams (Application and Knowledge).
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry work experience in the past 10 years (to meet BS EN 9104-003 requirements).
- AS9100 AEA registered in OASIS is highly desirable.
- College degree (AA or higher) or equivalent certification/work experience.
- Knowledge of management systems auditing practices.
- High level of integrity, conformity, and ability to appreciate diverse perspectives.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of customer needs.
- Great flexibility and agility, with willingness to adapt to changing travel schedules.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
