Job Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented WordPress Technical Support Analyst to join our team managing a growing portfolio of WordPress websites. This role is ideal for someone with solid WordPress experience who enjoys the operational side of web management and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- WordPress Site Management: Perform core, plugin, and theme updates; monitor site health; troubleshoot issues; ensure backups and recovery procedures.
- Performance & Optimization: Conduct speed tests, review caching setups, implement improvements, and monitor Core Web Vitals.
- Security & Maintenance: Maintain WAF rules, perform security audits, monitor security logs, and configure security plugins.
- SEO & Site Structure: Audit SEO structure, verify meta tags, schema markup, and fix crawl errors and broken links.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Create documentation, develop SOPs, build knowledge base articles, and identify automation opportunities.
Requirements
2-4 years of hands-on WordPress management experience; strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins; experience with caching plugins and performance optimization; familiarity with Cloudflare or similar CDN/WAF services; basic understanding of SEO principles; excellent written communication skills; ability to work independently managing multiple client sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MainWP or similar tools; knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, PHP; familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, staging sites); experience with page builders (Elementor, Kadence, etc.); understanding of Google Tag Manager, Analytics, and Search Console.
