Your role goes beyond basic site maintenance; you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of our digital storefronts from auditing and "cleaning up" existing collections to building entirely new brand sites from the ground up. You will act as the gatekeeper of the customer experience by ensuring that every product description is SEO-optimized, every meta field is implemented correctly, and the backend organization is logical and scalable. This position requires a self-starter who can see a cluttered backend and proactively restructure it for peak performance, ensuring our sites are as discoverable as they are professional.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, we work 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time, but could be flexible on schedule for this roll. 35 hours/week with 1 hr unpaid break.

  • Implement and correct meta fields, meta tags, and SEO best practices across the entire site to improve organic discoverability.
  • Clean up and restructure existing collections with proper naming conventions and logical categorization.
  • Build new Shopify websites from scratch for upcoming brand launches, handling both implementation and backend configuration.
  • Execute price adjustments, promotional updates, and ongoing catalog maintenance as the product line grows.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify backend administration, site configuration, and store optimization (APPLICATIONS WITH SHOPIFY PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED).
  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals including meta tagging, site structure, and product description optimization.
  • Ability to build a Shopify website from the ground up, from implementation through to launch.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to audit an existing site, identify gaps, and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Strong written communication skills for crafting compelling and SEO-friendly product copy.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce best practices for apparel and consumer product brands.
