About the Role

BruntWork is seeking a highly motivated SEO Backlinking Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will develop and execute effective backlink strategies to improve clients’ organic search rankings and domain authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute scalable backlink strategies aligned with client SEO goals.
  • Identify high-quality backlink opportunities via outreach, content partnerships, and PR strategies.
  • Conduct competitor backlink analyses and identify link gaps using SEO tools.
  • Track, measure, and report on backlink performance and SEO impact.
  • Collaborate with content, SEO, and web teams for aligned link-building efforts.
  • Monitor industry trends and Google algorithm updates to adjust strategies.
  • Ensure all tactics adhere to white-hat SEO best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backlinking and off-page SEO strategy.
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools and white-hat practices.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent written communication and outreach skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and results-driven approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SEO agencies or multiple client accounts.
  • Familiarity with SEO reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of digital PR and content marketing in backlink building.

Additional Information

This is a permanent work-from-home position as an Independent Contractor. Candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. Professional fees are hourly and based on performance. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time.
