Job Overview

The Operations & Project Coordinator supports the growing e-commerce business by managing diverse projects, ensuring smooth operations, and freeing leadership to focus on strategy. This role involves driving projects, managing supply chain operations, supporting reporting and analysis, and streamlining workflows.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Execution: Drive mid-sized projects, coordinate with partners, and manage timelines.
  • Supply & Operations Management: Maintain forecasts, issue purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers.
  • Reporting & Analysis Support: Compile performance dashboards and synthesize metrics for review.
  • Inbox & Workflow Management: Manage founder’s inbox and coordination of calendars.

Required Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce operations
  • Knowledge of project-management frameworks (ClickUp, Notion, Asana or similar)
  • Excellent written English and effective communication skills
  • Strong research and comparative-analysis ability

Contract & Perks

This is a permanent, work-from-home position on an independent contractor basis. Candidates must provide their own computer and internet connection, and manage their own benefits and taxes. Immediate hiring with flexible New Zealand business hours.
