We are seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team to support business operations through basic data analysis. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about basic data analysis and has a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. We provide full training and support to ensure the candidate is set up for success.

Schedule & Work Arrangement

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm EST
• Work from Home: Permanent remote role
• Employment Type: Independent Contractor
• Hiring: Immediate opportunities for steady freelance work

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the management team to understand business needs and objectives, supporting basic data analysis, report creation, and dashboard building.
• Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to identify basic trends and insights for data-driven decision making.
• Develop, maintain, and update basic data visualizations and reports using tools like Excel and basic business intelligence software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and ensure basic data accuracy and consistency.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of basic databases and data systems.
• Participate in ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required.
• Continuously improve basic data analysis processes and tools, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Important Considerations

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
