Job Overview for HubSpot Developer

Our client is actively seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented HubSpot Developer to join their team. This is a part-time independent contractor role, where you will be instrumental in building and maintaining custom web assets within their HubSpot ecosystem. Moving beyond standard drag-and-drop functionalities, you will be responsible for creating custom-coded solutions, managing codebases using modern version control practices, and ensuring that all marketing assets are pixel-perfect, fully responsive, and highly functional.

This position offers a permanent work-from-home setup with immediate hiring, providing flexibility around client business hours, typically within the GA/EST time zone. The commitment is between 10–20 hours per month.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom HubSpot modules, email templates, landing page templates, and complete website themes.
  • Write clean, semantic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create responsive and interactive user experiences.
  • Utilize Node.js and NPM for package management and to streamline local development workflows via the HubSpot CLI.
  • Manage code versioning and facilitate collaboration using Git and GitHub.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across various browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to implement advanced tracking, custom logic, and unique design requirements.

Requirements

  • Front-End Expertise: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vanilla JS or frameworks).
  • HubSpot Development: Proven experience with custom coding within HubSpot (HubL), including building custom modules and themes.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git and GitHub for efficient code management and deployment.
  • Local Development: Practical experience using Node.js and NPM, specifically with HubSpot CLI tools.
  • Certifications: Must hold current HubSpot certifications (e.g., HubSpot CMS for Developers, Marketing Software).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Additional Information

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must possess their own computer and a reliable internet connection. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees will be established based on performance during the application process.
