Ecommerce Graphic Designer Role at BruntWork

BruntWork is seeking a Graphic Designer to support our ecommerce and marketing operations. This role requires high-impact design work across email, website, paid ads, and social media. The designer will produce beautiful, brand-aligned, and performance-optimized creative work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Klaviyo email campaigns (mobile-optimized with clear hierarchy).
  • Create and update Shopify site graphics including banners and promotional visuals.
  • Develop digital ad creatives for Meta, Google, and Pinterest including static posts and carousels.
  • Produce social media content for IG, FB, and TikTok.
  • Edit and retouch product photos for clarity and optimization.
  • Collaborate on seasonal campaigns, influencer activations, and new product launches.
  • Communicate progress and blockers effectively with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout design, and photo editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma or Canva is a plus.
  • Experience designing for Shopify, email platforms (Klaviyo preferred), and ad creative.
  • Understanding of DTC brand tone — clean, clear, and conversion-minded.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-first mindset.

Bonus Skills

  • Video editing for short-form content.
  • Motion design, GIFs, and animations experience.
  • Experience designing for Amazon A+ content or retail partners.

Contract Details & Perks

This is a permanent work from home position as an independent contractor working 20 hours per week at an equivalent rate of $8.0 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency. Candidates must have their own computer and internet connection as they are responsible for their own benefits and taxes. Perks include HMO coverage (for eligible locations), immediate hiring, and steady freelance work.
