The client is an Auckland-based company with operations in Australia and the Philippines, managing all marketing activities in-house. This includes video production, social media, and website management. They are seeking a skilled 3D Motion Graphic Specialist to join their marketing team.
Role Overview
As a 3D Motion Graphic Specialist, you will produce high-quality visual content for various platforms, supporting the promotion of product trailers and their related app through professional motion graphics and video content.
Job Highlights
- Paid Hours per Week: 40
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11am - 8pm (New Zealand Time), includes 1 hour unpaid break
- Work Arrangement: Permanent work-from-home

Responsibilities
- Create motion graphics and 3D animations for how-to videos and app promotional content.
- Edit both short-form videos (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, social media reels) and long-form content (5-10 minute customer testimonials and interviews).
- Follow scripts and screenplay outlines to assemble raw footage into polished final products.
- Input sound, select appropriate music, and write voiceovers as needed.
- Enhance footage by inputting graphics and visual elements.
- Digitally splice film and video, synchronizing them into cohesive rough cut files.
- Improve lighting, color correction, and overall video quality to achieve film-grade standards.
- Produce graphic design materials to support marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team via video calls to understand project requirements and execute tasks independently.
- Deliver high-quality, professional-grade video content that aligns with the company's brand standards.
Requirements
- Advanced skills in motion graphics and 3D animation.
- Proven experience as a professional video editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating both short-form and long-form video editing.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing and graphic design software.
- Strong graphic design capabilities to support various marketing materials.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly understand instructions and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience creating film-grade quality content with attention to detail in lighting, color grading, and sound design.
Important Notes for Independent Contractors
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
