Policy Forms Analyst II

About the Role
This position is responsible for all activities related to forms management within the Personal Lines team. You will be responsible for the analysis, development, filing, and implementation of all policy insurance forms. This role involves close collaboration with the product management team and underwriting group to enhance policy form language and improve underwriting results.
How You Will Contribute
- Drafting, filing, and implementation of forms, ensuring adherence to system, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Writing business requirements and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for form-related product changes throughout the revision cycle.
- Analyzing content, formatting, and coordinating referencing for related forms.
- Assisting with the creation of policy form language as needed.
- Researching and evaluating state insurance laws, regulations, bulletins, and competitor offerings.
- Implementing form changes accurately and timely to maintain compliance and market competitiveness.
- Reviewing claim files and consulting with claims teams for adherence to policy guidelines and limitations.
- Monitoring claim activity and loss ratios to identify new trends.
- Participating in new product research and development.
- Auditing production and post-deployment of system updates for all policy forms.
- Providing coverage analysis for underwriting, product teams, and carriers.
- Assisting with manual editing of forms when immediate fixes are not available.
- Supporting recoveries of policies when system issues are discovered.
- Developing business requirements and presentations for user training and system implementation.
Skills & Experience To Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience in the insurance industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines, homeowner’s product development, commercial lines, underwriting, claims, or a related field.
- Experience drafting language for policy forms and endorsements is a plus.
- High familiarity with ISO forms used in homeowners, dwelling fire, or commercial residential programs is a plus.
- Proven ability to execute testing of product rules and form revisions through the UAT cycle is a plus.
- Experience coordinating and maintaining pertinent compliance documentation for product revisions.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Skilled at setting and delivering on a product plan with timelines, metrics, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Word, Adobe, Nitro, and Excel.
- Superior research skills.
- Prior experience working with offshore teams is a plus.
