PMO Supervisor Role Overview

Built on meritocracy, Brown & Brown rewards self-starters committed to customer success. The PMO Supervisor is responsible for recruiting, onboarding new PMO teammates and contractors while dedicating 50% of their time supporting PMO projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment by collaborating with hiring managers and teammate resources.
  • Design and execute onboarding programs for new hires and contractors.
  • Champion PMO processes and culture, ensuring smooth Day One experiences.
  • Mentor and develop staff during the onboarding period, monitoring performance and feedback.
  • Maintain project management tools and provide leadership to project teams.
  • Track and report on hiring and onboarding metrics.

Required Certificates & Experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Insurance industry experience preferred (3-5 years).
  • Lean/Six Sigma, CSM and/or CSPO certifications are a plus.
