About the Operations Assistant Role

The Operations Assistant provides essential administrative and office support to ensure smooth operations. This entry level role is ideal for an organized, proactive individual with strong data entry and Excel skills who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment in the insurance industry.
Main Administrative Duties
- Manage shared mailboxes and allocate work to underwriters.
- Perform bulk sanctions uploads and maintain the sanctions dashboard.
- Chase renewal forms and set up renewal leads.
- Create and maintain renewal lists and reports.
- Manage transfer of agency requests and survey requests.
- Archive and organize documentation as required.
- Prepare and distribute SMT service reports.
- Handle Excel projects/data entry for the Operations Team.
- Issue policy documents to brokers.
- General administration for operations, underwriting and claims teams.
Office Support
- Collect and distribute post.
- Ensure office and meeting rooms are tidy and well-presented.
- Order and maintain kitchen and office supplies.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general IT systems. No previous experience required.
